After the demise of the Canadian extremist metal band CONQUEROR, R. Forster Death Axe and Hell Saw and J.Read Hate Hammers and War parted ways. Eventually R.Forster went on to join the infamous Gods of War BLASPHEMY.
J.Read continued to create Decimating hymns calling forth the rise of the Iron Age of the Antichrist and REVENGE was born.
REVENGE is a continuation of the Infinite vision started in CONQUEROR. To release only absolute extreme metal ignoring all trends and standards set forth by today's Labels distros and magazines. In 2001 with the use of session members J Read recorded the Revenge 'Attack Blood Revenge' mini-album. This attack was released by Dark Horizon records U.S.A.
After the release of the mcd the Revenge 'Superion Command Destroy' ep was released by Warhammer records U.S.A.
Building a name with these releases as a total force of unrelenting violence and Chaos Revenge was offered deals from various labels for eps as well as full length albums. In the end Revenge signed with Osmose productions.
Eventually Pete Helmkamp joined the band. His experience as a bringer of Total Ascending Destruction in the underground since the old ORDER FROM CHAOS and ANGELCORPSE only brought more Violence extremity and Devastation into the Revenge command.
In Sept 2002 Revenge recorded the 'Triumph. Genocide. Antichrist' album for Osmose This album was met with much controversy due to its extreme nature. Hailed as one of the best albums of the year by some and deemed total noise and over the top by others. The Triumph. Genocide. Antichrist album proved whether you like the band or hate the band Revenge had made its mark in the Extreme metal underground.
After the release of the 'Triumph.Genocide.Antichrist' album REVENGE took part in a full US tour with DEICIDE. This tour showed the brutality of the Revenge live show. The shows on this tour were filled with barbed wire blood and chaos at some points causing many to avoid the front of the stage at all costs due to the gas mask wearing Revenge fans committing acts of violence upon all in their path once again proving the pure ferocity brought forth by the music of the band.
In the months following the US tour a REVENGE / ARKHON INFAUSTUS split 7-inch EP was released by Osmose containing the Revenge song Deathless will. Soon after there was also a deluxe picture disc version of the 'Triumph. Genocide .Antichrist' Album licensed to and released by Nuclear War Now Productions U.S.A
In April 04 Revenge recorded their second full length album 'Victory Intolerance Mastery' Revenge continues to walk alone hailing the Antichrist supremacist banner until Death. The new album is a direct continuation of the atrocities committed on the 'Triumph Genocide Antichrist' album. Once again the band has refused to betray their fans by bowing down as so many others do to the critics and reviewers instead of changing to please the masses Revenge has continued to lead... Trust No One is the Absolute Law.
